Hi there
Just thought Id put a pic up of the giftbag I made for my sisters birthday early in January. Amy turned 19 and is the youngest of us three girls. My nickname for my sweet sis is - Little Amy. Just coz she was a tiny thing when she was younger... I love her to bits and enjoyed the family get together we had for her special day!!!
It was so quick and easy to do. I used some retired product such as the Summer Picnic dsp and Blooms diecuts from our old spring mini I also used the new Flower Fusion felt flowers from our current summer mini. Together with bashful Blue Ribbon and brads and some old olive cardstock was thrown in there too. The stampset I used was Cheery Chat. I also made a matching love note card but I didnt take a photo of that but I just made up the same flower and stuck it on the card.
Well there you go. Amy loved it so I was quite pleased!!!
until next time....

Two Step Stamping Class
Good Afternoon
I held Classes on Friday to showcase our gorgeous Two Step stampsets. Had a wonderful time showing the girls how to get the most out of these types of stamps. I managed to squish in quite a bit into the time we had (I ran 2 sessions a day class and a night class).
So here are the projects we completed...
I got my inspiration for this card from our summer mini. The stampsets I used were Botanical Blooms and For Father. The main colours I used were Bordering Blue, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip and Confetti Cream I also used Always Artichoke, Regal Rose, So Saffron and Stazon Ink. Twill Ribbon finished it off. One of the techniques used on this card was Stamping Off.
For the card above I used Oh So Lovely and En Francai Stampsets. The colours I used were Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Almost Amethyst Regal Rose and Confetti White. The technique I used on this card was Blender Pens and Inks.
This card is my favourite of the three. I used Heartfelt Thanks stampset. The colours I used were Always Artichoke, Rose Red (DSP) So Saffron, Regal Rose and Very Vanilla. I also used Rose Red and Elegant Eggplant inks. I also used Fairytail Ribbon. The techniques I used were Paper Peircing and Inking Stamps with Markers.
Last but certainly not least... from this...
To this!!!
Here is a close up of the finished tin...
and of the love note...
This is one of my most favourite projects I have made so far I think! The Stampsets I used were Wild Rose, Short and Sweet and En Francai. The colours I used were Rose Red, Regal Rose, So Saffron and Always Artichoke. I also used Stazon ink, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Two Way Glue Pen and Fairytail Ribbon. The techniques I used were Stamping Off and Using the Bone Folder and Paper Piercing Pad to get a more 3D look to the Roses. (I saw this technique used with the Wild Rose stampset on SCS to see this ladies card click here I thought her card was so beautiful Im glad I found it again so I could show you!!!)
In all the projects the Stampamajig was used to align the stamps correctly into position.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed making these although the tins were quite hard work but they all agreed wholeheartedly that the finished product was worth it!!! Thanks girls I had a lot of fun teaching this class!!!
Until next time :)

Card Candy
Hi All....
I just wanted to post a pic of a card I made using some of the sweet Card Candy Seahorses I made for the Craft Fair. Even though I sold a couple of these overall they didnt sell too well. I think it was because people just didnt understand what they were for. So I want to make up samples for my Card Candy so people can see the great uses.
Some great uses for Card Candy are as follows:
You can use it on a card... lol... No really they make a great starting point for a card you build the design of your card around the candy itself!
Embelishments on scrapbooking pages Jazz up that page!!!
Embelishments on giftbags a little extra bling goes a long way!
You can pretty much put them anywhere you like!!!
For the card above I used the Much Appreciated and Ocean Commotion stampsets, Spring Break DSP, black brads, purely pomegranate double stitched ribbon and the colours I have used are old olive, blue bayou and purely pomegranate.
Enjoy

Something for me!!!
Hi everyone
I actually did something for me. Yay Me!!! The paper work in my Stampin Habitat was getting out of hand so I decided to buy a leverarch file to keep all my bits and pieces in. This includes stuff like what colours go with our DSP range, information about the classes, templates, tutorials, ideas etc... I though I might pretty up the cover so this is what I did...
I used some retired Stampin' Up! products like the Do The Hula Stampset the A Perfect Day rubons from the Spring Mini. The current products I used were the Spring Break DSP. The colour scheme I used where White, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky
I also used the Pretties Kit which I love!!! I sponged the largest and third largest flower in soft sky and the second largest flower in blue bayou. I left the smallest flower white and added a rhinestone brad in the middle.
As the file is always going to be on my craft desk getting used I was able to decorate the front with out fear of it getting crushed. I really thought that was all it needed I didnt want to go overboard. And as a result Im pleased with it!!!

The leverarch file itself is very close to our own lavender lace
