Craft Fair Wrap Up

Hey Everyone
Been wondering where Ive been and what Ive been up to??? Well Ive had an extremely busy weekend and Ill tell you all about it!!!! First as you know Ive been preparing for a Craft Fair... Sarah , Tracey , Chantell and myself have been very very busy little bees getting ready for our time in the spotlight lol. We got together once a week for about a month and a half creating, stamping, preparing our wares for this event. It was really great working with these talented girls... Here is a pic of our stall all set up. I think it looked quite smashing myself...

We had a make and take table which is on the left behind the card display where we did make and takes and also demonstrations. This was pretty successful for us as it drew a crowd and got people interested when they were walking by we always had something going on.

These next three pics are just a close up of our display...

Here are some of the things I made for the craft fair...

The tags on the little boxes above reads "Box of Candy - Card Candy that is!" I had fun making these.

Some cute ribbon bookmarks

And some sweet glittery seahorse card candy on some seaweed from our Summer Minis Ocean Comotion Set!

It was also my birthday on Friday night and after the craft fair I held a bash at a great pub down in East Victoria Park. The Balmoral is an excellent place to have a function the food was delicious and the service is exceptional...

Here is the cake that my sweet mother in law gave me. It was so delicious...

I took this pic at home the next day of my decorations my friend Lauren organised for my birthday arent they cool their huge lol...
I was thoroughly spoilt on my birthday and just want to thank everyone for coming and celebrating my 30th with me *hugs*

Christmas workshop

Hi everyone
Well here are some projects I did at a couple of workshops recently...

A gift bag, gift tags and a card...

This gift bag above was so easypeazy to make we were shown this by Derek from Stampin' Up! Perth Regionals. One 12x12 sheet of DSP no cutting just folding and sticky strip. I chose to use Holiday Harmony DSP, Always Artichoke & Whisper White C/S. Holiday Wishes stampset. I created the flower using Bud Basics and the Pretties Kit and Purely Pomegranate and Always Artichoke Inks. I used Mellow Moss ribbon with antique brads for the handles.

These tags above were quite easy as well. The colours I used were Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and Kraft. The stampsets I used Sanded, Fun and Fast Notes and Greetings Galore.

This card above we all made together the colours I used were Garden Green, Ruby Red, Whisper White for the C/S. Old Olive Ribbon. Old Olive, Garden Green, Ruby Red and Close to Cocoa Markers. Many Merry Messages, Sanded and Lovely as a Tree were the stampsets that were used. I used the sponge dauber to blend the colours on the tree after we used the markers to ink the stamp up. I love the effect it created and everyones tree turned out so different it was great.
thanks for looking & hope you are having a great week!

Embossing Class

Hi there
Well I held my embossing class a couple of weeks ago. Had so much fun!!! We made these four cards...

The first one we made was this Cristmas Card

Recipe
Colour Scheme Not Quite Navy, Handsome Hunter, Real Red and Bashful Blue
Stampsets Loads of Love & Accessories
Accessories Ribbon, Corner Rounder, Eyelets, Cropodile, Paper Piercer, Stampamajig
We coloured our little ute stamp with stampinwrite markers, stamped on whisper white then versamarked then embossed with clear embossing powder. You cant really see in the photo but the red ute is soo shiny!

The next card we did was this one below

Recipe
Colour Scheme Close to Cocoa, Really Rust, More Mustard, Creamy Caramel
Stampsets Loads of Love, Loads of Love Accessories, Sanded
Accessories Round Tab Punch, Ribbon, Stazon, Aqua Painters, Water Colour Paper, Stampamajig
Stamped ute with Stazon then used versamark and clear embossing powder to emboss the ute dabbed spots of clolour on the utes body then dragged the colour with tthe aqua painters to make this cute little rust bucket. We then stamped friends for the long haul which I think suited it to a tea!

Thirdly we made this card

Recipe
Colour Scheme Rose Red, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose
Stampsets Always, Tres Chic
Accessories Ribbon, Spring Fling DSP, Stampamajig
We inked up our birdie stamp with the stampinwrite markers then clear embossed over the top. Super easy!!!

Last but not least this card (whereis the other three above are my own designs the one below is from the lovely Sarah Klass)

Recipe
Colour Scheme Old Olive, Rose Red, Blush Blossom
Stampset Always
Ascessories Ribbon, Sponges
Embossed birdie with versamark and white embossing powder then coloured in the little flowers on the birdies body with Stampinwrite markers also sponged around the edges of the card.
This card was what started the whole embossing with markers class idea. We also stamped our envelopes to match our cards all in all is was a great night the girls loved the carrds they made and I think came aout a bit more confident with stamping and use of some of the tools and accessories which was fantastic.

Finally some Scrappin!!!

Well Ive finally got some 12x12 scrapbooking pages to show yall... I had to wait to put these up because they were for the quarterly Klass Act Team Day I went to yesterday. I prepared 20 pages of 1 design, 4 different colour schemes for the girls to scrap phew... Its great to get together with the girls we also did some card projects that two of the other girls had prepared for us, Yay Chantell and Ali! I will post those on here soon. Well here are my pages the lovely girl in the picture is my youngest sister Amy *hugs* (I wanted to show that you can have the same layout for girls and boys but I just slid Amys picture in all of them and the photo matched all the pages which I thought was pretty cool!).

This first one above was the original I came up with. The colours I used were Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate and Pretty in Pink. I also used the One of a Kind Stampset and Berry Bliss DSP.

The second one above is using the exact same colours as the first one but I just changed the colours around.

This third one above was my take on a boy page so I used Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Sage Shadow. This time using the Wanted stampset and Outlaw DSP.

Last but not least for a boy page is the Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip and Sage Shadow combination also using the Wanted stampset and Outlaw DSP.
I had a lot of fun doing these and was pleased with the result.
Thanks for Looking

Jaz's Stampin Habitat part 3

Hi everyone!!!

Well here is the last of my pics from my Stampin Habitat....

So heres my hubby putting the screws in under the desk apparantly the glass/chipboard panels hold the desk up with only 2 legs to support it, its pretty sturdy. It was a bitch to put in so we are glad that bit is over and done with lol.

Starting from the left of the doorway is my craft cupboard we lugged in aswell...
I keep my stampsets and ink on two of the five shelves.

Now these 2 beauties are my biggest bargain buy I have ever gotten. They are metal structure with white plastic containers with matching lids the bigger ones underneath are 12"x12" size. They were on sale for 30% off originally $99 down to $79 then when I got to the cash register they came up as $16.95 each well I wasnt going to argue. You have never seen me walk so fast out of a shop lol. so I got $200 worth of storage for $30 they are well used and very much appreciated!!!

So here is my actual workspace there is a bit more room on the desk on the left but I didnt fit that into the picture but what I really love is my cardstock storage solution on the right all my A4 cardstock fits in this nifty contraption.

Last but not least is my computer workstation with my beloved printer I {heart} my Canon. And this is where I sit and surf the net, work on my blog and other general things that you do on computers...
Well thats it. It was a huge job and my house was turned upsidown but all is back to normal now thank goodness!!! So this is where you will usually find me.....doin me thing.
Hope you have enjoyed my story.

Jaz's Stampin Habitat part 2

Hey everyone
Update on my Stampin Habitat. So I got everything out as you can see...

and bought some nice organza curtains to brighten the room up

You shouldve seen my poor house all the stuff that I had in this room filled the loungeroom, kitchen, laundry, Pete and I's bedroom, the hallway and my old craft room. I could not believe how much stuff this room could contain. Definatley the right time of year for a SPRING clean.

I love and hate spring I love all the flowers the cute little duckling that hatch all the new life that springs forth and the warmer weather. What I hate is the Allergies that I get this time of year. I suffer even with medication. And to top it off Ive got a bad cold aswell and Im celebrating my first wedding anniversary this weekend so Im extra stuffed up and sick Arrrrghhhh. Oh Well what do ya do....

Anyways back to the room here is a quick pic of us trying to fit the rather large desk into the room.

I know I know it doesnt look like a desk and Ive had to cover my lovely curtains but in the next part of my stroy Ill show you but you'll have to wait coz I gotta go pack...

Jaz's Stampin Habitat, (The place where a person or thing is usually found...)

Hi Everyone

Im going to be posting a series of photos over the next couple of weeks. I'll give you a bit of background first. We used to live in a 4x2 villa (4 bedroom 2 bathroom) but with the rental crisis in Perth at the time they jacked up our rent so we moved but we could only find this cute little 3x1 (3 bedroom 1 bathroom) house. Soooooo fitting a 4x2 house worth of belongings in a 3x1 house was always going to be difficult. Dont get me wrong I love this little place although I sometimes feel like a sardeen. We have a beautiful little garden out the front and it feels so cosy and safe but you know... Any who We have 1 room for our bedroom, 1 room to act as a store room and 1 room for my craft room that actually became another store room. Consequently our wee loungeroom became my craft room. We finally became sick of not having a designated area for my crafts soooooo here is where this story begins. I decided to swap my craft room over to the store room because it was bigger and my dear boss gave me a huge bank desk for free.

So this is what the room looked like before...

This was taken from the door way and is between waist and chest high. That is actually a king size single bed on the other side of the room behind the fan. I know I know we have alot of stuff the other room wasnt much better lol.

Keep you updated...
